School Magazine - The Masthead

After gathering my initial thoughts (see previous blog post) i decided i would choose a younger audience such as lower years at primary school as my target audience. I decided i would use bright colours and vibrant images to make it more appealing to them and include content such as colouring pages and fun activities related to learning. With my target audience decided i chose to draft mast head/name ideas.

Here was my initial idea on a name for a magazine - little BIG. It would be targeted at the younger years of primary school children. Little could mean little children whereas if it was to branch out to older years of primary school the big could stand for year 4 upwards who think they are becoming bigger and older. The 'BIG' could stand for a number of other stuff such as qualities the children may have e.g. big future.
