Production - double page spread development

As mentioned on the previous post i would feature a self album review from Darius, this required a lot of detail to create a professional finish. Here is what my album review looked like:

Incase you cannot read it i will copy and paste the text here:
(MER)MADE IN BERLIN
Darius Azadeh gives his track by track view of his debut album

Bus to Berlin
It was important to have a strong opening track and I think this was the right song. I recorded the album in Berlin so that’s how it all started really.

Goldfish Bowl
This one’s got quite a big  chorus, I wanted it to be one of those songs you play to a crowd and they know all the words.

Mermaid
We flipped this one up a bit, stripped it back and slowed it down. It’s different from the rest of the album, but it just works.

Grownup Gatherings
Probably my favourite track on the album When I first heard it all finished I thought  to myself “yeah this is a fucking tune”

Blurred
This track sums up my whole experience hence being the album name, the whole
journey has been mad crazy; a crazy blur.

Window seat
This one has a more chilled  vibe to it. I love getting the acoustic guitar out and just zoning out.

Feel’s good
I call this one the ‘driving song’, you know that moment when you’re in the car and a proper good tune comes on the radio and you just gotta turn it up loud, yeah that.

Kickin’ sand
The guitar riffs in this are electric, it definitely gets the best reaction from the crowd. This is one of my tracks I’m most proud of.
