Production- Producing a front cover - round 2

As mentioned before i will now totally restart my magazine cover however i will reuse features from my other front cover which i thought worked well. After many difficulties with my last cover image i decided this would be a good place to start with my new cover and work around the picture.

As shown in the previous post i took a range of photos of my model and decided to go with this image:
This image shows aidan looking emotionless and almost moody, he is directly looking at the camera ( a previous problem in which i have improved on) therefore directly contacts the audience. His clothes are quite neutral colours which allow me to overlay a striking font ontop. Also when taking this photo i chose a plain background so that it enabled me to easily crop around him to mantain a smooth professional look. I chose to only use a section on the image as when having the full image on the page it filled the width of the page but not the length and made it look bare therefore i cut off the right side of the image so that only part of his head was shown, i also removed the background by using photoshop, here is what it looked like:
Due to a technical difficulty on blogger.com which doesnt allow you to upload photos, i will now display the development of my front cover on a powerpoint presentation and slide share it to this blog.
