After agreeing to feature in my magazine, we began photography.Using the local picturesque setting of new hall valley and borrowing a guitar from the music department at school we took many shots. I wanted darius to be in neutral colours so the guitar contrasted to his clothes. As my genre is british Darius wore a classic black suit with white shirt, black suits are wore at many british social ocassions e.g. weddings so it related to the genre. With some shots we tried him wearing a cardigan to give a more relaxed british feel. The cardigan also looked quite indie too which tied in well, in all the shots Darius also had his top button done up which teenagers now associate with being indie. Here are a sample of the shots we took which i believed were good enough to be included in my magazine.
I also took medium close ups of Darius using the green screen as the background so that i could manipulate the background if i wanted to:
